My name is Ashley Rimert and my puppy Ryka is just over 6 months old. She is the light green female from the litter B. I fell in love with her from the first time I saw her and we had an instant connection. She is the best companion that you could ask for and is very protective of my family and me. Her temperament is amazing, even though she still shows that puppy innocence and mischievousness, we can tell that she is already on her way to being a very talented dog. We have two small children in our home and she is very good with them, even when they get in her face, sit on her and harass her like little kids do, in all honestly, I think she kind of likes it. You can definitely tell she was breed from good genes and we are in close contact with Shannon and her family, including Rykas mom and sister. They take care of their dogs and treat them as if they are just as much part of the family as anyone else. All of the dogs they produce are among the most beautiful German Shepherds I have seen and Ryka grows more stunning every day.
We are also lucky enough to have Cheyenne, an almost all black, from litter A. When her original owner could not keep her anymore he brought her back to Shannon and asked her to find her a good home (Thank you Travis). We went over to meet her and my fiancé Rob and she instantly had a connection. Anyone could tell that they had already bonded and the next day she came home with us. She is a little over a year and a half now and is just beautiful, our home would not be the same with out her. Its very funny to see she and Ryka interact among each other and towards us, we all have a bond with each other, but you can tell that Ryka is my dog and Cheyenne is Robs, which is just another example of the loyal and family implemented genes Hunters German Shepherds possess. Cheyenne is also great with our kids, she was raised with small children since she was born, and as Travis said she definitely gives us that silent confidence that we are protected.
We are very happy with both of the German Shepherds we have from Shannon and her family and we plan on buying more in the future. ________________________________________________
I am extremely happy with the great puppy I got from Vom Hunter last year. After doing a lot of searching it was a comfort to find a puppy that was raised by a serious breeder in a loving home. I had been turned off by a lot of people that ran massive breeding kennels or amateurs just trying to make a few bucks. When I met Shannon and her family in person it sealed the deal - they are great. Shannon is very knowledgeable and serious about the German Shepherd breed, she is always willing to help and encourages you to ask any questions. My puppy has a great temperament and loves everyone, I couldn't have asked for a better life companion. :)

Hi my name is Marleea, and I bought a German Shepherd puppy from Shannon in the summer of 2008. My 3 kids kept nagging on me to get one until mom finally caved in and said yes. We brought our little Jade home with us, and I wasn't quite sure how my other dog would react to her which is a Black Lab. Needless to say they are the best of friends and get along great. I had always been hesitant of owning a German Shepherd with my job of a daycare provider and having little one's running around the house all day long. Ages of children I watch are from newborn to 10 yrs old, all I can say is I did not make a mistake in owning one of Shannon's puppies, Jade has a great temperament, is loving, and she gets very excited when all the kids show up. She has become a very special part of the family and we love her dearly. We have had many compliments on how beautiful she is, and what a great dog we have. Not to mention that Shannon is great to work with, she is very knowledgeable, and is there to help in anyway she can. She truly cares about her dogs and the homes that they go to, she makes sure that they are well taken care of in their new homes, and keeps in contact with the families. If you have any questions or concerns she is there to answer any and there to help out any way she can. I highly recommend dealing with Shannon and owning one of her dogs, you won't be sorry!

Hi Shannon,
I havn't taken any real recent photos of her recently but your email is a good reminder to do so. She is as big as a horse and unfortunately she's not our little girl anymore she's a young lady now. Let me sit down and think and put some ink on a page and get back to you describing our experience with Adrianna. I have always have had dogs in the house growing up mostly large breeds but never Shepherds. She has characteristics, emotional, and other behaviors that you have to believe come from a thought process I've never seen in any dog I've had.
My wife grew up in California and her family has never been K9 owners. In fact, I can remember few years ago Jean actually stating she didn't really care for dogs. Now, Jean makes sure Adrianna is with us on the bed with absolutely no room for either but plenty for her. She is a wonderful dog, and I wouldn't trade her for anything.
I have put her on the pedigree data base and recently someone had added one of her sisters Shilo which was cool to see. Her registered name does have your name at the beginning citing her origin. Don't know if you know this but her registered name is Hunters Reed Lady Adrianna (she's known in our house as baby girl) more like baby Huey. I put our last name in there so people would know that out of these beautiful dogs this one is mine.

My name is Travis De Main, I live in Central Oregon. My first impression of Shannon was that she is very serious about her dogs. She is very knowledgeable and kind. After some time of picking the "One" we said our good byes and I went on my way. Cheyenne, my pup, who is just under 1 yr. old is a wonderful dog. She is so comfortable with herself. She is excellent with kids and has a watchful eye over them. I have three boys and they are all under 7 years old and they are rough typical boys. I believe she is more than capable of police or military work but is content just hanging with the family and swimming after the ducks. She allows us to have that silent confidence, of just having a good dog. Furthermore, Shannon has became a friend . She has always been there to answer any questions I may have . Shes a good person and has some Great dogs. Thanks Shannon.
My name is Conan and I purchased my black female, Haley, from Vom Hunter.
She is the best German Shepherd anyone could ask for. When I saw Meeka, her
mother, I knew that was what I wanted in my puppy. When the puppies were born
I was able to go to their home and pick the puppy I wanted. Haley is exactly what
I was wanting and looking for. Mark and Shannon were very helpful and still are
to this day. Anytime I have any questions, I call them. Haley is my constant c
ompanion no matter where I go. She is very loyal, obedient, intelligent and beautiful.
She is 11 months now and getting so big. Mark and Shannon are good people with great dogs.
I will be getting my next German Shepherd from them as well.
